simpler-rathole

A secure, stable and high-performance reverse proxy for NAT traversal, written in Rust

rathole, like frp and ngrok, can help to expose the service on the device behind the NAT to the Internet, via a server with a public IP.

This repo is a fork of the excellent rathole implementation at https://github.com/rathole-org/rathole, but with these changes:

  • updated Rust language version and edition
  • updated dependencies
  • removed all features that I don't use in my setup:
    • transports other than tcp: tls, noise, websockets
    • config auto-reload
  • strip down all dependencies features to the least possible

This is a first step into shaping this into a simpler to maintain codebase for my use-case.
